OverviewThe Manager, Project Portfolio Implementation, National Events will support the implementation of organizational priorities supported by YMCA of the USA. More specifically, the Manager will serve as the national events fulfillment lead to collaborate on assigned projects to advance sponsor success within the Growth and External Engagement team that meet the needs of an overall sponsorship strategy as defined by the Y-USA leadership, SVP, and VP, in collaboration with senior management at the partner brand, to advance organizational priorities throughout all National Events.The Manager, Project Portfolio Implementation, National Events lead will collaborate with other teams at Y-USA and external partners to fulfill sponsorship deliverables that align with organizational priorities and brand visibility strategies and to support engagement tied to YMCA National Events.YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) embraces a remote-first working environment which means most employees work remotely from a home office within the continental United States. ResponsibilitiesSponsorship Strategy & Revenue SupportCollaborate with the VP, Strategic Brand Partnerships and VP, National Events to oversee national events sponsorship fulfillment to meet or exceed revenue goals.Partner with assigned event owners (e.g., Director, Strategy and Quality Practices) to identify and develop sponsorship opportunities aligned with event revenue objectives.Determine costs of sponsorship programs and components; support the sales team with pricing recommendations to achieve target profit margins.Sponsorship Fulfillment & Activation ExecutionExecute all duties required for successful fulfillment of national event sponsorships, including coordination across governance, national events, communications, contract coordination, and other stakeholders.Manage, track, and coordinate event promotion and sponsorship program deliverables across select events in the YMCA portfolio.Oversee the day to day delivery of sponsored digital and print assets, including onsite signage, activations, geofencing campaigns, targeted email campaigns, mobile app sponsorships, and other contracted deliverables.Attend events to support fulfillment, on site operations, and sponsor engagement.Sponsor & Partner Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for assigned sponsors, managing ongoing client relationships and communicating timelines to ensure on time execution.Hold primary responsibility for the day to day operational management of assigned sponsors and national event sponsors.Coordinate and manage an extended internal and external partner support team to ensure partnership terms, expectations, and deliverables are met.Project Management & Cross Functional CoordinationDevelop and execute project sheets in collaboration with cross functional teams, including sales, operations, and practice leads.Execute full project management processes, including maintaining SharePoint file systems and Microsoft Teams workspaces to house all relevant documentation.Work closely with sales and marketing, event management, content teams, operations, and external vendors to deliver contracted sponsorship elements.Learn and apply processes across multiple technical platforms, including Salesforce, and internal delivery systems.Financial Coordination & Reporting SupportCollaborate with the finance team to establish project codes and financial tracking systems to support monitoring and reporting of sponsorship and funder expenditures.Support national event leads with accurate financial visibility and reporting related to partnership execution.Sponsor Communications & Meeting ManagementCreate agendas and draft talking points for sponsor meetings and calls.Develop and distribute pre reads and supporting materials.Draft meeting notes, highlights, and action items.Track sponsor communications, meeting documentation, and correspondence within project management systems and Teams workspaces, in partnership with event leads.Reporting, Analytics & Performance MeasurementProvide post event reports and performance analytics to sponsors and internal leadership following sponsorship deployments and events.General & Additional ResponsibilitiesAssignments may vary based on client scope and organizational needs.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsA successful candidate will possess a majority of the following professional and personal attributes and competencies:Bachelor’s degree or higher required in a relevant field such as Business, or related disciplines required.4+ years of event experience requiredAdvanced functional skillsIntermediate industry knowledge and experienceEntry to intermediate managerial skillsComplex/advanced functional and operations tasksManages a team or functionHigh degree of decision-making within own areaFocused on policy and strategy implementation for short-term resultsInternal and external communicationsHigh influence over teams and within the functionMay
