As the senior-most media leader at #paid, you’ll define the vision and direction of the media function—shaping how paid media drives performance, innovation, and revenue as we continue building the Creator OS.
This role blends high-level strategy with execution. You’ll be just as comfortable presenting to senior clients and internal stakeholders as you are building media strategies, refining pricing models, and supporting key pitches.
Reporting to the VP of Strategy, you’ll partner closely with Sales, Client Success, Product, and Strategy to ensure our media offering is differentiated, scalable, and delivers strong client outcomes.Key Responsibiliities Media Strategy, Leadership & InnovationSet and evolve the vision for paid media, with a strong focus on presale strategy and revenue growthLead the development of media strategies and narratives for creator-led campaignsAct as the senior voice of media in client presentations, pitches, and internal planningIdentify opportunities for new paid media offerings tailored to the creator economyStay on top of platform updates and industry shiftsPartner with Product to drive automation, tooling, and operational efficiencyOwn the roadmap for AI-driven solutions to enhance media planning and executionOwn senior relationships with key platform partners (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, StackAdapt)Unlock strategic opportunities, including betas, partnerships, and joint initiativesExternal Partner and Cross-Functional CollaborationOversee external agency partners to ensure quality, performance, and alignmentCollaborate closely with Sales, Strategy, Client Success, and Measurement to deliver best-in-class outcomesContribute to a shared learning agenda that continuously improves creator specific media strategy and performance.Work closely with Sales, Strategy, and Client Success to ensure media efforts align with client needs and business goalsPartner with Product to identify tooling and automation opportunitiesTeam Leadership & OperationsLead and develop a high-performing team of media professionals, including performance management and goal settingOversee day-to-day team operations, resourcing, and workflow optimizationBuild scalable systems and processes to support growth and efficiencyOversee day-to-day operations of the Media team, including resource planning and workflow improvementsOwn and optimize paid media campaigns across major platformsProvide strategic input and hands-on support for live campaignsCommercial Strategy & Financial OwnershipLead media pricing and packaging strategy to ensure scalability and strong marginsIdentify opportunities to drive incremental revenue from media performanceOwn the media department budget, including team and external partner spendPartner with Finance to manage media spend forecasting and cash flowWhat success looks like Media is a clear differentiator in RFPs and client pitchesThe team is high-performing, aligned, and consistently delivering strong resultsPlatform partners actively bring forward new opportunities and innovationsMedia pricing and packaging is scalable, consistent, and margin-positiveAutomation and AI-driven solutions are improving efficiency and reducing manual workTo be successful, you'll need to Lead a team of full-time employees and contractors, ensuring strong performance and engagementDesign and implement scalable media strategies that drive strong resultsBuild and streamline internal processes that enhance operationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client goalsPartner with Product to improve team efficiency and impactProvide mentorship and support to the Media teamStay ahead of industry trends and contribute to thought leadershipManage and optimize paid social campaigns across major platformsOperate as a senior strategic leader, confidently presenting to executive stakeholders and clientsBalance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, including pricing, presale strategy, and pitch supportAbout you 7–10+ years of experience in paid media, digital m
