The selected candidate will be in charge of monitoring the development team's progress to make sure they adhere to the original concept, development philosophies, and delivery dates. This position requires at least 4 hours of overlap with the GMT+4 time zone.Job Responsibilities:Develop, create, and put into effect architectural best practices for platforms with high availability, performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.Analyze current applications, pinpoint areas for development, and create optimization plansParticipate in product management by hearing what the company needs are and addressing them. in favor of a technology strategyConduct talks about design and have a say in key decision-makers choices about deployment topologies, scaling, performance, and sizingImplement PoCs (Proof of Concepts) and standardize software delivery to participate in the technology evaluation process. implementing good DevOps practicesMonitor the development team's progress to make sure it adheres to the original concept, development philosophies, and delivery dates.Showcase a thorough understanding of the SOLID design concepts, modeling techniques, and principles of software quality assuranceEfficiently review code and give developers technical advice or coachingDevelop and keep up with the documentation needed for software, such as technical specifications, design documents, and test plans.Secure the overall performance of the application stack as well as the quality and fit of the technological solutionJob Requirements:Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)At least 5+ years of relevant experience as an application architectAt least 14+ years of engineering experienceAt least 5+ years of experience creating, architecting, and suggesting solution architecture across multiple platforms (Web, Android & iOS)Knowledge of software development, algorithm design, and data structuresExperience with AWS cloud, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, Java 8+, and Spring frameworkWorking knowledge of Maven, Jenkins, Chef, etc. in continuous integrationProlific experience with Hibernate, React Native, SQL/NoSQL DBs, REST/RESTful APIs, and microservices architectureDemonstrable experience in agile methodology, quality assurance procedures, and software testing techniquesExperience working in dynamic, complex situations with multi-vendor, multi-culture, distributed offshore and onshore development teamsIn-depth knowledge of trading, brokerage, or financial platformsStrong analytical and detail-oriented problem-solving abilitiesGood communicator with a command of EnglishOriginally posted on Himalayas
