This role delivers user-facing applications that expose analytics, workflows, and data products in a secure and scalable manner. We combine industry partnerships and long-term federal experience with innovative technical leadership to support our customers’ critical missions.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop React + TypeScript applications that interface with Databricks-backed data services Build user-facing applications that expose analytics, workflows, and data productsDevelop backend integration using Databricks APIs, jobs, and data pipelinesTranslate requirements into application architecture, data flows, and UI/UX behaviorIntegrate applications with data pipelines, APIs, and external systemsOptimize application performance across frontend, API, and data layersImplement security, authentication, and access control across application and data layers Support CI/CD, version control, and automated deployment of application components Troubleshoot application, data, and integration issues across environments Maintain documentation for application architecture, interfaces, and workflows Support enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance QualificationsBachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience 5+ years of experience developing and supporting software applications Strong experience with React and TypeScript for frontend development Experience integrating applications with APIs and backend data servicesExperience working with Databricks, Spark, or cloud-based data platformsExperience with Python or similar backend integration technologiesExperience designing scalable, secure application architectures Experience troubleshooting performance and integration issues Experience working in Agile environments Preferred QualificationsExperience building data-driven or analytics applicationsExperience with CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and automated deploymentsExperience with AWS and cloud-native servicesExperience supporting advanced analytics or machine learning use casesExperience with data governance and secure data access patternsExperience supporting federal or regulated environments Clearance RequirementMust be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. suitabilityAbout AcuityAt Acuity, your work matters—and so does your experience.
