The SD shall directly contribute to the Firm and its success through drafting and design efforts. This individual shall directly contribute to the Firm and its success through technical experience to effectively produce a quality design and ultimate product to the customer. The SD shall execute drafting and design duties as required to ensure quality is always maintained.The SD is a designer by education and experience:Ability to combine personal judgment with information to implement design criteria.Demonstrates proficiency of structural concepts.Able to prepare specific framing and foundation plans for projects as directed by team.Able to use computer software such as Microsoft Office.Ability to work well in a team environment and as an individual. Communicates well with individuals in the organization.Capable of interpreting information set forth in a Basis of Design, field surveys and code research.Responsible for the delivery of the technical design of project tasks to which they are assigned from design through construction admin.Responsible for Utilization Rate (80%), and QC completion (95%) for assigned projects.Preparation of schematic design and design development drawing sets with direction from the team.Support to senior engineer by working on specific design tasks, markups, and review comments as assigned.Application of design principles to resolve design problems and tasks assigned.Development and implementation of design criteria from concept through detailed design and construction.Proficiency in design drawing software including Revi
