**QA Engineer and Tester** Remote Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination Blu Omega is seeking a QA Engineer and Tester to support enterprise\-level data, analytics, and application modernization initiatives within a mission\-driven federal health environment. This role operates within an Agile software delivery environment and is responsible for automated and manual testing across web applications, APIs, and data\-driven platforms. The position requires experience supporting test automation, CI/CD pipeline support, and quality engineering practices within a mission\-driven environment. **Program Overview** This role supports a federal health program focused on enterprise data, analytics, and application modernization. **Key Details** Location: Remote Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination **Responsibilities** * Design, build, maintain, and optimize automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, and data\-driven platforms. * Develop scalable test environments using AWS, Azure, Docker, and other cloud technologies to support reliable and repeatable testing. * Apply AI\-enhanced testing approaches, including tools such as GitHub Copilot and agentic UI automation, to improve testing efficiency and expand coverage. * Perform automated and manual testing, including functional, regression, usability, UAT, integration, and API testing, to validate end\-to\-end system functionality. * Develop and execute test plans, test cases, scripts, and validation strategies for web\-based data platforms and enterprise applications. * Implement, maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, and Jenkins. * Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows to enable continuous validation and improve release quality. * Partner with developers, business analysts, Product Owners, and QA team members to define test strategies, identify defects, and drive issues through resolution. * Analyze test results and application behavior to identify quality risks, gaps in coverage, and opportunities for continuous improvement. * Maintain test documentation, defect reports, test results, and quality metrics. * Estimate testing efforts and help teams plan QA activities across Agile iterations and releases. * Mentor junior QA professionals, share technical knowledge, and promote automation and quality engineering best practices across the team. * Ensure applications meet established functional, performance, security, accessibility, compliance, and quality standards. **Required Qualifications** * 4\+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks. * 4\+ years of programming or scripting experience using Python, Java, Groovy, SQL, or Bash. * 2\+ years of experience implementing or supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, Jenkins, o
