Job Description
The Financial Controller (Corporate) will be responsible for the financial operations of the group, is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and provides support and assistance with key commercial decision making. There is a key focus and requirement to work closely with all sections of the business to ensure delivery of the company's strategic plan. The Primary Functions include:Developing and owning financial and internal controls of the group, including policies and procedures to ensure robust governance and risk management.Leading statutory, financial, tax, and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely information in compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory, and statutory requirements.Supporting the CFO and FC (FP&A) with the budgeting and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.Assisting in measuring business performance, driving improvements, and providing
actionable insights to support decision-making.Supporting client contractual negotiations, including evaluating financial terms, pricing structures, and long-term profitability implicationsKey Responsibilities and Duties:Monthly Invoicing and Account ManagementReportingAccountingTax & ComplianceBudgeting & Business PerformanceCompliance, Internal Controls and Risk ManagementManagement and Staff SupervisionQualification and Experience:10+ years experience in accounting, finance and commercial3+ years experience as a Financial Controller or equivalentCertified Public Accountant Qualified or Chartered AccountantHigh level of proficiency and ownership of financial reporting, tax, internal controls and complianceEffective negotiator with third-party vendors and able to deliver targeted business or
contract terms with favorable outcomesDesired if with: offshore resource resource management or B2B service industriesAustralian experiencePhilippines experience especially PEZA and different government policiesPersonal skills and Qualities:Strong business and commercial acumen with strong negotiating skills.Strong communication skills, written and oral, with experience in making presentations or delivery of a professional service.
