Simulation Engineer – FEA & CFD

Are you passionate about engineering simulations and turning complex physical behaviour into clear technical insights?We are looking for a Simulation Engineer to join a specialized engineering team focused on simulation and advanced analysis activities supporting innovative mechanical systems.ResponsibilitiesPerform FE analyses on mechanical components and integrated systems.Evaluate strength, stiffness, dynamic, thermal, and magnetic behaviour.Carry out CFD simulations with focus on oil management, cooling, and thermal performance.Support engineering teams with simulation results and technical recommendationsCollaborate with development engineers to define corrective actions and improvements.Interpret analysis results and translate them into practical engineering solutions.Contribute to iterative design and development processes through simulation-driven insights.Prepare clear and structured technical reports and presentationsSupport broader analysis activities within the team, with growth potential toward NVH, system modelling, efficiency, or electromotor simulationQualifications:Master's degree in mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Automotive EngineeringStrong interest in FEA and CFD simulation.Ability to model physical phenomena and translate them into reliable engineering conclusions.Experience with Abaqus or other FEA tools is a strong advantage.Critical mindset and attention to technical detailHands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindsetAbility to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesGood communication and reporting skillsFluent in English, knowledge of Dutch is a strong plus.We offer:A high-tech environment full of creative and technical talent.Mentorship and support for your professional growth.Flexible work from home policy.Competitive salary, extra-legal benefits, extra holidays, and a company car.Originally posted on Himalayas
