Registered Nurse

This is a remote position.Assist with pre-op and post-op visitsEducate patients about pre-op and post-op careSupport physician during proceduresApply sterile techniques and practicesProvide excellent nursing care to patientsReview paperwork thoroughly prior to procedure to ensure physical and medical history and other required elements are presentAssist in discharging patients to caregiver (s)Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure HIPPA compliance at all times RequirementsExperience with working with sterile fields and with sterile techniques requiredA minimum of 1 year OR experience preferred for LPN, required for RNExperience with IV’s including starting strongly preferredACLS certification strongly preferredInitial Training: Paid training, most of this will be online and interactive virtual training.Schedule: Flexibility is required, shifts are generally 8 -10 hours but can vary based on the patient and surgery volume.
