With a focus on innovation and user experience, we are driving the evolution of wearable technology.Field Application Engineer – Shenzhen-basedAs a Field Application Engineer, you will support our Shenzhen Sales team by acting as the technical bridge between Bragi, our partners, and customers in the Chinese market. You will help customers successfully evaluate, integrate, test, and launch our technologies, with a focus on mobile SDK integration, Bluetooth/audio behavior, connected devices, and customer-facing technical support.This is a remote role based in Shenzhen, ChinaTasksSupport customers and partners during product evaluation, integration, development, testing, and productionProvide technical guidance for mobile SDK/app integration, Bluetooth connectivity, audio features, and connected device behaviorReproduce, debug, document, and escalate customer issues across mobile, firmware, hardware, and connectivity layersWork closely with sales teams to support customer discussions, design-in activities, and new business opportunitiesManage customer samples, collect technical feedback, and share insights with internal product and engineering teamsReview and support customer-facing technical documentation, integration guides, specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts when neededTravel for on-site customer support when requiredRequirementsExperience in Field Application Engineering, Technical Support, Customer Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Mobile Integration Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical roleStrong experience with mobile app or mobile SDK integrationGood understanding of Bluetooth, BLE, audio products, hearables, wearables, or connected consumer devicesStrong troubleshooting skills, including issue reproduction, root-cause analysis, debugging, documentation, and escalationAbility to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and explain complex topics in a practical, customer-friendly wayProactive, self-driven, and comfortable handling urgent customer issues and multiple priorities independently.Fluent Chinese and English, both spoken and writtenNice to HaveExperience with embedded systems or firmware integrationExperience with Jieli / JLI, Qualcomm, Bluetrum, or similar chipset platformsExperience with hardware debugging tools, protocol analyzers, or simulation toolsBackground in consumer electronics, audio devices, semiconductor platforms, or Shenzhen-based hardware supply chainsBenefitsThe ability to be part of actively contributing to Bragi's next development process, being part of an R&D team in Shenzhen, China, and working with colleagues primarily based in EuropeExciting and challenging projects that will change how audio is consumed foreverWork hand in hand with worldwide-known audio brandsA chance to deliver a delightful experience to 25m+ users in the next 12 months (existing base is 10m+)Home-office and flexible working hoursA flexible Learning & Development program, choose where you want to improve yourselfOriginally posted on Himalayas
