Job Title: Chief Branch Banking Officer (CBBO)Position Overview:The Chief Branch Banking Officer is responsible for leading and overseeing the bank's branch network, ensuring operational excellence, sales performance, and superior customer experience across all locations. This role focuses on driving growth in deposits, loans, and fee-based income through branch channels while maintaining strong compliance, risk management, and service standards.Key Responsibilities:1. Branch Network Strategy & GrowthDevelop and execute strategies to expand and optimize the branch network.Drive growth in deposits, loans, and overall branch profitability.Identify opportunities for new branch locations, relocations, or consolidations.2. Sales & Business PerformanceLead branch sales initiatives across retail and SME segments.Set and monitor sales targets for deposits, lending, and cross-selling.Ensure achievement of revenue and business growth objectives.3. Customer Experience & Service ExcellenceEnsure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service across all branches.Implement customer-centric initiatives to improve satisfaction and retention.Manage escalations and enhance overall branch experience.4. Operations & Process ManagementOversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to policies.Standardize processes and implement best practices across the network.Drive digitization and process improvements to enhance productivity.5. Risk, Compliance & GovernanceEnsure all branches comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Monitor operational risks, fraud prevention, and internal controls.Coordinate with audit and compliance teams to address findings.6. Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop regional managers and branch staff.Build a high-performance, sales-driven, and customer-focused culture.Drive training, performance management, and succession planning initiatives.7. Channel Integration & Digital AdoptionPromote integration between branch banking and digital channels.Encourage adoption of digital banking solutions among customers.Collaborate with IT and digital teams to enhance branch capabilities.8.
