ResponsibilitiesWe are excited to announce that we are offering a $1000 sign-on bonus opportunity with this role based on our bonus plan. $500 payable after 90 days and $500 after 180 days provided deliverables are met.Altour 24 provides VIP service and support to high-end clients that have travel needs outside of regular business hours. Altour 24 aims to provide seamless, high-quality assistance to clients regardless of the time of day or day of the week.Schedule: (all times Eastern): Saturday 11:30p – 8 a ETSunday 11:30p – 8 a ETMonday 11:30p – 8 a ETTuesday OFFWednesday OFFThursday 11:30p – 8 a ETFriday 11:30p – 8 a ETORSaturday 5 PM – 1:30 AM ETSunday 5 PM – 1:30 AM ETMonday 5 PM - 1:30 AM ETTuesday OFFWednesday OFFThursday 5 PM – 1:30 AM ETFriday 5 PM – 1:30 AM ETMakes travel arrangements with company-authorized air, hotel, car, and ground transportation vendors at the best possible fares for client’s needs and requests in a virtual environment.Follows company procedures, guidelines, and standards in the areas of customer service, building PNRs and utilization of front room CRS productivity via calls and emails, attendance, accuracy of work, invoicing, etc.May make domestic and international business travel arrangements specializing in one area or any combination thereof.Is fully informed and stays abreast of all airline rules and regulations, tariffs (domestic/International), and other industry requirements and accurately applies this information when making travel arrangements.Keeps immediate supervisor informed of all matters of significance.Projects a favorable image of Altour. To promote its aims and objectives and to foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all its areas of endeavor, especially in the sense that the Travel Counselor is the primary contact for the traveling public.Consistently promotes a productive and harmonious working relationship with and between other company employees to foster and enhance a cooperative and harmonious working climate effectively.Performs duties as required or requested.Deliver extraordinary customer service to passengers and their administrative staff. Greet all clients warmly and with enthusiasm.Must exude an impeccable professional demeanor at all times.Must be comfortable servicing and interfacing with C-level executives and their administrative staff.Provide consultative service to travelers and travel arrangers throughout the booking process.Complete all reservations in an accurate and timely manner.Secure the lowest air/car/hotel rates available at the time of booking. Utilization of client and Altour negotiated programs when applicable.Utilize GDS low-fare search capabilities.QualificationsDiplomacy and tact are required in contact with vendors, co-workers, and clients.Courteous, professional telephone manner.Superior problem-solving skillsMust be able to work holidays that correspond with regularly scheduled workdays.Minimum of 3 years of travel agency experience.Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the travel industry including proficiency in the Sabre CRS system. Will need training on Travelport +.Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality are required.Must be proficient and pass a GDS assessment.Must be proficient with both international and domestic destination Geography.3+ years of Customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry Exceptional/above & beyond, proactive customer service approachAbility to handle multiple complex requests simultaneously and seamlesslyComfort and experience working with C-level travelersAbility to retain and proactively obtain travel preferencesPerform unique requests with the utmost professionalismExcellent travel industry knowledgeMastery in Sabre GDS Specifically: GDS formats, shortcuts, enhancements, pricingCorporate travel e
