**Founding Product Designer** **Location:** Remote (US) \| **Type:** Full\-time \| **Reports to:** CEO / Head of Product **About Us** We're building the intelligence layer for healthcare operations — replacing the fragmented, manual workflows that burn out clinicians and administrative teams with AI\-driven, agentic automation. Our platform doesn't just surface information; it takes action: routing prior authorizations, drafting clinical documentation, reconciling claims, and orchestrating care coordination tasks end\-to\-end, with humans in the loop where it matters most. A founding designer who wants to co\-author not just the product, but the company itself. **The Role** As our Founding Product Designer, you'll own design from first principles. You won't inherit a design system — you'll create one. You'll define how clinicians, care coordinators, and revenue cycle teams interact with autonomous AI agents for the first time in their careers. This role is equal parts craft, strategy, and invention. You'll sit at the intersection of two hard problems: healthcare's unforgiving complexity and the emerging design language of agentic AI. **What You'll Do** * **Design AI\-driven workflows across the healthcare stack**, including: * Agentic prior authorization: intake, payer requirement matching, evidence assembly, submission tracking, and appeal drafting * Ambient and assisted clinical documentation: AI\-drafted encounter notes, structured data extraction into the EHR, and clinician review/edit flows * Revenue cycle automation: claim scrubbing, denial triage queues, and agent\-generated appeal letters with human sign\-off * Care coordination: automated referral routing, patient outreach sequencing, and gap\-in\-care task orchestration * **Design for safety, auditability, and regulation.** Every agent action needs a legible audit trail. You'll design confidence indicators, escalation paths, human\-in\-the\-loop checkpoints, and interfaces that make HIPAA compliance and clinical governance feel natural rather than bolted on. * **Build the founding design system** — components, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2\.1 AA) that scale from our first pilot health system to enterprise deployments. * **Ship constantly.** You'll pair directly with engineering, prototype in high fidelity, run usability sessions with clinicians and RCM staff, and iterate in days, not quarters. * **Co\-author the product roadmap.** You'll join customer discovery calls, sit in on pilot deployments, and have a real vote in what we build next and why. * **Set the culture.** As an early hire, how you work becomes how we work.
