Job Description
This is a remote position.TheEpic Behavioral Health Analystsupports the design, build, testing, and implementation of behavioral health workflows. This role works closely with clinical stakeholders, IT teams, and project leadership to ensure behavioral health workflows are effectively configured, tested, and deployed during the Epic implementation lifecycle.The analyst focuses on modules and tools supporting behavioral health services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting clinical documentation, and improving provider and patient workflows.
RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesImplementation & System BuildLead or support Epic Behavioral Health deployment.
Translate behavioral health clinical workflows into Epic build specifications.
·Configure system components such as:oBehavioral health documentation templatesoIntake and assessment workflowsoTreatment planningoSafety plansoGroup therapy documentationoBehavioral health-specific orders and flowsheetsParticipate in integrated design sessions and workflow validation.
Stakeholder Collaboration·Partner with:oPsychiatristsoTherapistsoSocial workersoBehavioral health nursingoCompliance and legal teamsGather and document clinical and operational requirements.
Facilitate workflow design meetings and translate decisions into system build.
Testing & Validation·Develop and execute:oUnit testingoIntegrated testingoUser acceptance testing (UAT)·Validate workflows such as:oBehavioral health assessmentsoSuicide risk screeningsoIntake documentationoCare planningoMedication managementTroubleshoot issues and document defects.
Training & Go-Live SupportSupport development of training materials for behavioral health workflows.
Assist with super user training and end-user education.
Provide at-the-elbow support during go-live.
Help monitor adoption and workflow issues post-go-live.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in: Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems or Behavioral Health–related field 5 plus years of experience supporting an Epic implementation; with a strong focus around Behavioral Health and Ambulatory
·Must be Ambulatory CertifiedStrong knowledge of behavioral health clinical workflows Experience gathering and translating business requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting: Psychiatry Substance use treatment Outpatient behavioral health Inpatient behavioral health
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required
