The ideal candidate is energetic, eager to learn, and possesses a strong foundation in accounting principles and tax concepts. **Duties** * Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns using tax preparation software and financial software tools * Review and analyze financial documents, including W\-2s, 1099s, and other tax documents to ensure accuracy and completeness * Assist clients with understanding tax laws and reporting requirements to maximize deductions and credits * Maintain detailed records of all tax filings and correspondence for audit readiness * Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and clarify questions related to their financial data * Support the team in ensuring timely submission of all tax documents in compliance with federal and state regulations * Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage to reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports as needed **Skills** * Strong understanding of tax law, tax compliance, and tax return preparation processes * Proficiency with tax preparation software, accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage), and financial reporting tools * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly * Knowledge of partnership and corporate tax expertise is highly desirable * Strong analysis skills paired with attention to detail for accurate data entry (including 10 key typing) * Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast\-paced setting * Basic math skills combined with technical accounting knowledge for precise calculations * Experience with bookkeeping, financial concepts, and analysis of financial statements * Marketing or client acquisition skills are a plus for expanding client relationships Join us as a Seasonal Tax Preparer where your enthusiasm meets opportunity!
