We're Hiring: Junior Accountant (Independent Contractor) Competitive Rate: $800 - $1,000/month (All-In)Service-Break Credits (SBC): Earn up to 120 hours of discretionary Service-Break Credits yearly for personal time, rest, or emergenciesU.S. Observance Day Credits: Receive SBC credits on 13 recognized U.S. observance days, giving you more breathing room throughout the year.Health Allowance: Receive a monthly health allowance after your 6th month to support personal wellness and preventive careDependent Health Allowance : Access an annual dependent wellness allowance after continuous engagement.Work From Anywhere: Work remotely from anywhere in the Philippines with a setup designed for autonomy and balance.Recruitment ProcessWe aim to complete the recruitment process within seven to ten calendar days, unless impacted by month-end closing activities or candidate availability. We invest in great recruitment, because great recruitment builds great teams.Scope of Services:Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.Update accounts payable, vendor management, and perform reconciliations.Prepare bank reconciliations.Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and month-end required reports.Handle payroll-related tasks such as schedule preparation, monthly or bi-weekly computations, deductions and additions related to payroll, and other necessary tasks.Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.Assist with other accounting projects as required.Skills and Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Accounting (CPA is a plus).3 to 4 years of accounting work experience.Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.Excellent report writing, communication, and computer application skills.Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel.Ability to stay focused on goals and maintain strong attention to detail.Critical thinker with high proficiency in mathematical reasoning.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Essential Functions:50% Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
