This role is designed for a highly adaptable A&P who can work independently, transition between bases and aircraft types, and maintain aircraft to the highest airworthiness and safety standards.Your Impact:Perform aircraft inspections, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with FAA regulations, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and manufacturer manualsTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical, structural, and electronic aircraft issuesEnsure all maintenance documentation is accurate, complete, and compliantWork autonomously at remote bases while collaborating with pilots, medical crew, and base leadershipAdvise the Pilot in Command (PIC) of maintenance issues that may impact aircraft readinessValidate aircraft status reports and maintain accurate electronic maintenance logsOrder parts and supplies to support operational readinessMaintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and professional conditionActively participate in Life Link III’s Safety Program and continuous improvement effortsLearn new aircraft types and base-specific procedures as neededSupport safe, efficient flight operations—every mission, every timePerform other duties as assignedYour Qualifications:High School diploma or GEDFAA A&P license in good standing2–5 years of related aircraft maintenance experience and/or trainingProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with electronic maintenance log systems (e.g., Veryon, Flight Docs, Complete Flight, RAMCO, etc.)Must own tools required for basic maintenanceStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical publicationsAbility to work flexible schedules, including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotationsAbility to travel a minimum of 60% to Life Link III bases and locationsMust live within one hour of the assigned Life Link III baseValid driver’s licenseAbility to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 70 lbs., climbing, prolonged standing, and working in confined spacesPreferred QualificationsFactory airframe and/or powerplant trainingFAR Part 135 experienceERP system experienceInspection Authorization (IA)What We Offer:Base Pay Rate: $39.33 - $54.44 per hour, based on experienceHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage starting the first of the month following date of hireHealth Savings Account (HSA) with employer match401k with employer match fully vestedGenerous paid leave and paid time off to foster work/life balanceLife, disability, critical illness, and accident insuranceTuition/Training reimbursement programWhy Join Life Link III?We are dedicated to making a difference.
