Type of Requisition:RegularClearance Level Must Currently Possess:NoneClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain:NonePublic Trust/Other Required:MBI (T2)Job Family:Data Science and Data EngineeringJob Qualifications:Skills:Data Analytics, Predictive Modeling, Project Management, Qualitative Data Analysis, Statistical AnalysisCertifications:NoneExperience:5 + years of related experienceUS Citizenship Required:NoJob Description:The Data Analyst Senior supports the data collection and analysis efforts for monitoring the implementation of a government program with respect to the care and placement of participants in a network of grant funded care provider programs.Position Duties:Work with contractor and federal staff to enhance the collection and analysis of program dataUpdate and develop on site data collection tools and processes to yield statistically reliable and informative data and support field program assessmentsAssist in identifying performance outcomes and indicatorsIdentify uniform data points for analysisConduct high-level data interpretation and analysis using a data analytics platformPrepare written summaries and presentations that reflect the results of the data analysis and present findings to agency leadershipProvide ad-hoc data reporting as neededOversee the quality and the production of analytical reportsHelp train contractor and field staff on the use of data collection and analysis toolsAssist with projects that support the continual improvement of data analysisCompile, analyze, and visualize data using a data visualization platform such as Power BI or TableauHelp build data repositories and databasesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience with quantitative and qualitative data interpretation and analysis. 3 years with a Master’s degree.Working knowledge of data visualization platforms (Tableau or Power BI) and scripting languages (R, Python).Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with relational databases.Advanced skills in Excel and VBA.Exceptional analytical skills.Strong attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience working with immigrants, refugees, and underserved populations is preferred.Top candidates will have specialty skills in one or more of the following areas:Natural Language ProcessingQuantitative and Qualitative Data AnalysisData Engineering and experience working with large data sets; performing tasks such as data cleaning and processing (ETL)SQL, Python, and/or RTableauPalantirLinux and ability to maintain a Linux serverAdditional Requirements:  This position requires an existing Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.   This role and associated duties will be performed remotely with the potential to perform work on site at a government facility located in Washington, DC at a future date.  The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
