We are seeking a **US\-based Virtual Bookkeeper** to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail\-oriented, experienced with accounting systems, and capable of independently managing client bookkeeping tasks in a remote environment. Job Summary The Virtual Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting clients with their ongoing bookkeeping needs. Duties and Responsibilities * Record and categorize daily financial transactions accurately. * Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Prepare financial statements and bookkeeping reports. * Maintain organized financial records and documentation. * Assist with payroll processing and related accounting tasks. * Support month\-end closing procedures. * Communicate with clients regarding bookkeeping questions and financial records. * Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance. Requirements * Must be based in the United States. * Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. * Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting. * Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (required). * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy. * Excellent organizational and time\-management skills. * Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. * Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience (5\+ years of bookkeeping experience). * **Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.** Working Conditions * Fully remote position. * Flexible work environment. * Opportunity to work with a growing virtual accounting firm serving small businesses nationwide.
