Project Manager – 6 Months Contract

We are seeking an experienced project manager professional to support our expansion initiatives across Latin America. This role will be critical in coordinating cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining strong stakeholder communication across our regional operations.Please note this is a 6 month contract role.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage multiple projects across the LATAM region, ensuring alignment with business objectivesDevelop and maintain project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategiesTrack project progress, identify bottlenecks, and drive resolution of blockersFacilitate communication between regional teams, stakeholders, and global headquartersPrepare and deliver status reports, dashboards, and executive summariesSupport resource planning and capacity management across projectsEnsure adherence to project management best practices and methodologiesManage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners as neededRequired Qualifications:Fluent in English & Spanish (written and spoken)1+ years of project management or PMO experiencePayment, Banking, or Fintech industry background requiredProven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projectsExperience working in or with Latin American marketsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent stakeholder management and communication abilitiesProficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, MS Project, or similar)Ability to work independently in a remote environmentProblem-solving mindset with attention to detailComfortable working across different time zonesPreferred Qualifications:Portuguese language skills (advantageous for Brazil operations)PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certificationsExperience with card issuance, payment processing, or digital banking productsPrevious experience in contract or consulting rolesOriginally posted on Himalayas
