Think of yourself as someone who will lead and mentor a team of instructional designers, content writers and editors, so not just anyone is qualified for this role. Now we need your full concentration because it’s time to imagine what it’s like being an E-Learning Manager. Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that you will provide thought leadership in the application of instructional design strategies and methodologies, particularly in the areas of learning analytics and design, to deliver learner-centered training solutions across all levels in the organization. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it comes down to one thing: that you will hire, train, mentor and evaluate staff (ID Supervisors) to ensure seamless execution of instructional design initiatives. As an E-Learning Manager, you will hire, train, mentor and evaluate staff (ID Supervisors) to ensure seamless execution of instructional design initiatives. You will also provide instructional design services to the following key functions: Implementations, Project Management, Client Services, Consultancy and Product-Specifics Training (PST) for new campaign/LOB launches. Also, Operations Management, Quality and PST to address performance gaps in production. You will also be incharge of the organizational development (OD) for continuing education and skills enhancement. Other Support functions and vendors for organization-wide special projects (e.g., new tool/technology, process updates) will also come in from time to time. You will also collaborate with the E-Learning (Multimedia Development and LMS Administration workstreams) and PST Teams to design, develop and implement innovative self-paced and instructor-led training programs and evaluate the effectiveness of such.
