This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while honing your skills in strategic planning, project management, and content development. **Responsibilities** * Conduct thorough research on grant funding opportunities across government agencies, foundations, and other nonprofit sources. * Develop persuasive grant proposals, including narrative content, budgets, and supporting documents aligned with funder guidelines. * Manage the entire grant submission process from initial research to final submission, ensuring compliance with deadlines and requirements. * Maintain detailed records of grant applications, awards, reports, and correspondence within databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar systems. * Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary data, develop case statements, and craft compelling narratives that highlight organizational impact. * Proofread and edit proposals for clarity, accuracy, and consistency; ensure all content aligns with organizational goals and funder expectations. * Monitor grant progress post\-award by preparing financial reports, program updates, and compliance documentation as required. **Experience** * Proven experience in grant writing within nonprofit or community organization settings. * Strong knowledge of grant management processes including proposal development, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. * Familiarity with databases such as Raiser's Edge or equivalent for tracking grants and donor information. * Experience with contract management and understanding of legal agreements related to grants. * Excellent research skills to identify new funding opportunities aligned with organizational goals. * Demonstrated ability to craft clear, persuasive technical writing and content editing tailored to diverse audiences. * Prior experience in fundraising within government agencies or nonprofit foundations is highly desirable. * Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
