**Job Title:** Contract Technical Writer (Industrial / EASA Standards) **Duration:** 30\-Day Contract **Location:** Hybrid or Remote Horner Industrial Group is seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced Technical Writer for a 30\-day contract assignment supporting our industrial operations. This role will focus on developing, updating, and standardizing technical documentation in alignment with Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial environments and the ability to translate complex technical processes into clear, user\-friendly documentation. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop, write, and edit technical documents including procedures, work instructions, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) * Corporate Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) standards into current documentation * Collaborate with Operations, and shop personnel to gather accurate technical information * Review existing documentation and update for clarity, consistency, and compliance with EASA guidelines * Organize and structure content for ease of use by technicians and internal teams * Ensure all documentation aligns with company standards, safety requirements, and industry best practices * Deliver completed documentation within the 30\-day project timeline **Qualifications:** * Proven experience as a Technical Writer in an industrial, manufacturing, or electrical/mechanical environment * Familiarity with, or ability to quickly learn, Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) standards and documentation practices * Strong ability to interpret technical jargon and processes * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * High attention to detail and strong organizational skills * Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in writing work instructions for a manufacturing environment * Familiarity with document control systems or quality management systems **What We Offer:** This is a short\-term contract opportunity offering competitive compensation and the chance to support a well\-established industrial organization.
