Primary Purpose of the Position (Essentially looking for a Databricks SME who has been there and done that)US Citizen6 months CTPSalary $150K plus stock options and benefitsThe Data Program Manager serves as a strategic execution partner to the Data & Analytics leadership team, acting as a central integrator across data strategy, delivery roadmaps, and operational governance. This role is responsible for ensuring that the enterprise data strategy is translated into cohesive, executable programs, that delivery teams remain aligned to agreed priorities, and that risks, dependencies, and overlaps are proactively identified and addressed.The role requires a seasoned professional with deep experience navigating complex, multi-year data programs—someone who has seen both success and failure at scale and can apply that judgment to surface blind spots, challenge assumptions, and drive disciplined execution across the data portfolio.Essential Responsibility Areas1. Enterprise Data Program OrchestrationOwn and manage the end-to-end execution view of the data strategy across platforms, analytics, governance, and advanced analytics initiativesIntegrate multiple workstreams (data platform, analytics, MDM, governance, AI) into a single coherent program narrativeEnsure initiatives are sequenced logically, dependencies are understood, and delivery capacity aligns to priorities2. Roadmap Alignment & Delivery OversightPartner with design, engineering, analytics, and governance leads to ensure team-level roadmaps align to enterprise data strategyIdentify misalignment, duplication, or gaps across roadmaps and recommend corrective actionsTrack progress against milestones, outcomes, and strategic objectives—focusing on value delivery, not just activity3. Risk, Dependency & Blind-Spot IdentificationProactively surface delivery risks, architectural conflicts, resourcing constraints, and organizational friction pointsApply prior experience to identify “unknown unknowns” common in large data transformations (e.g., data ownership gaps, change management debt, tooling sprawl)Facilitate trade-off discussions and escalation paths with clarity and credibility4. Program Governance & Operational RigorEstablish and maintain lightweight but effective program governance (cadence, decision forums, escalation paths)Ensure program documentation, decision logs, financial tracking, and status reporting are accurate, current, and executive-readySupport budget planning, vendor coordination, and program administration as needed5.
