Social Media Copywriter

First Station Media is seeking a skilled and detail\-oriented Social Media Copywriter to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong writing and editing experience who is comfortable creating, scheduling, posting, and boosting content across Meta platforms. You will be responsible for producing high\-quality written content and collaborating with designers, developers, and marketing teams to support client and internal initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** * Write and edit copy for social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and Instagram. * Collaborate with copywriters, graphic designers, developers, and clients. * Ensure all content aligns with First Station Media brand guidelines and standards. * Contribute creative ideas and participate in content development initiatives. * Assist with advertising campaigns using Meta Ads Manager (Facebook \& Instagram). * Stay up to date with the latest Meta advertising features, algorithm changes, and best practices. * Plan and execute a consistent posting schedule across social media platforms. * Compose and proof posts and campaign verbiage, making any corrections as needed. * Monitor comments, engagement, and community interactions. * Track and report on social media performance and ad campaign results. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience * Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Able to undergo Meta Business training courses and hands\-on shadowing; Meta Business Suite knowledge is a plus. * Familiarity with social media platforms. **Position Type:** Full\-Time **Work Location:** Remote (United States) *Candidates must reside in a state where First Station Media is registered to employ staff.
