Because when you thrive, we all thrive.What you’ll doWe are looking for a Director, Global Payment Partnerships to join our team, and manage partnerships as well as drive strategic initiatives. You’ll interact with partners directly and mutually drive efforts to expand into new markets, build products, improve operations, drive strategic initiatives procedures, and use metrics to track performance. The role will require close coordination with product and engineering teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Finance, Risk, etc., and with external partners’ senior executives.ResponsibilitiesBuild and own the global partner strategy and relationships with strategic ABC partners (payment processors, networks, banks, and technology partners such as Stripe, Worldpay, and Visa)Work cross-functionally with a number of ABC teams – including Engineering, Product, Sales, Finance, Operations, Treasury, Legal and others – to negotiate contracts and pricing, build integrations, products, support deals, and drive process enhancementsDefine SLAs and performance standards for our partners and drive efforts to implement and track commitmentsManage monthly and quarterly business reviews with partnersIdentify capabilities and needs for ABC’s top markets and identify the partners to provide the necessary payment processing coverage to support our market expansion, new programs and solutions (including defining payment methods, technical and operational requirements) to address themDevelop and manage end-to-end project plans for new implementations, working closely with other stakeholders and partners to ensure on-time delivery Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements and continue to analyze processing fees and charges to optimize costs to ensure ABC remains competitiveIdentify, scope, and drive process improvements across your area(s) of ownershipAssist with incident resolution when needed, working closely with Engineering, Operations, Customer Success teams to drive partner communications and escalationsWho you areWe’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.Minimum requirements10+ years of payments partnerships/program management and/or business operations experience3+ years of managerial people leadership experienceProven ability to successfully drive medium-to-large sized technical projects with external partners and cross-functional internal stakeholdersAn understanding of product strategy and key requirements for scaling products and operations through partnerships, with a “customer first” mentalityThe ability to prioritize and remain focused under pressure, and comfortable with ambiguityExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Experience managing large, complex external relationshipsStrong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilitiesExperience in a high growth technology company, payment processing and/or software-as-a-service industries Experience executing industry-wide partnership strategies to build  innovative product experiences and go to market models  Strong negotiation skills with experience independently leading  negotiations  Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in the U.S and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for U.S based candidates for this position is$121,200 - $134,800 USDannually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
