Job Description
Inside Sales Specialist
Location: Remote
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM - 5:50 PM EST, plus a mandatory rotating Sunday shift (9 AM – 5:30 PM approximately once every 2 months). For each Sunday shift worked, one weekday off will be provided within the same week.

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused Inside Sales Specialist to support our Business Development and Key Account teams while managing inbound leads and guiding clients through the reservation process.
In this role, you’ll play a critical part in converting inquiries into bookings, maintaining accurate data across systems, and ensuring a seamless client experience from initial inquiry through lease execution. What You’ll Do
Sales & Client EngagementRespond to inbound calls and online inquiries with a high-touch, service-driven approachAssess client housing needs and recommend suitable apartment options based on availability, pricing, and preferencesGuide clients through the full sales cycle, including lease negotiations and closingBuild strong relationships through professional communication, active listening, and rapport-buildingIdentify potential corporate opportunities and escalate to Business Development as appropriateProvide creative solutions when preferred inventory is unavailableSales Operations & SystemsAccurately enter and maintain client data, reservations, and communications in Salesforce and internal systemsTrack and manage all client interactions, including calls, emails, and follow-upsEnsure consistency and accuracy across platforms such as Salesforce, Oscar, and FQ LiveHandle assigned leads and provide coverage for team members when neededLease Processing & AdministrationPrepare, review, and manage lease documentation and reservation detailsEnsure all paperwork is complete, accurate, and aligned with operational requirementsCoordinate reservation details to meet both client expectations and internal processesMarketplace & Lead ManagementManage and process leads from multiple channels including Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and other platformsPresent appropriate housing options and maintain marketplace responsivenessSupport weekend coverage on a rotating scheduleCollaboration & TeamworkPartner cross-functionally with Sales, Guest Services, Operations, Accounting, and external stakeholdersCommunicate proactively regarding timelines, challenges, and workflow updatesParticipate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and client experienceCulture & DevelopmentEmbody Furnished Quarters’ core values in all interactionsComplete required training and actively participate in performance reviewsContinuously build knowledge of markets, inventory, and industry trendsWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred2–3 years of sales experience in hospitality, real estate, or related industriesProven ability to meet or exceed sales targetsExperience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and property management tools (e.g., Oscar)Strong written and verbal communication skillsExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentA collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skillsMultilingual skills are a plusAdditional DetailsThis is a full-time, remote positionRequires rotational weekend coverageInvolves frequent computer use and managing multiple systems simultaneouslyRequires the ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periodsBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife, Short- and Long-Term Disability InsuranceMedical FSA and Commuter Benefits401(k) with Company Match
