Job Description SummaryThe Steam and Gen Sourcing Leader is responsible for developing strategic sources and vendor alliances to improve customer responsiveness, support emergent work growth and cost position to participate on the total global available market (SAS), in partnership with the Product Line, Sourcing Function, Material Planning teams and other Hoshin team members. This Subject Mater Expert will negotiate with dedicated providers, according to policies, to achieve best contractual conditions while ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction. Will collaborate cross functionally, influencing other key teams and individuals to support Gas Power’s strategic goals in this space are met (steam turbines and generators forecasting to remittance). On this role, the Steam and Gen Sourcing Leader will act as a strategic coach to develop supplier strategies for the Americas. This position will report directly to the PES Global Operations Leader and dotted line to the Services Sourcing Organization.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities and areas of work In collaboration with Parts, Services and Repairs Hoshin Leaders, set the strategy to participate in the available SAS of every Major and Minor outage (readiness to serve, scope optimization, quote optimization, cost position improvement, identify COPQ opportunities, etc)Identify & establish dedicated providers for steam and generator parts and repairs.Communicate services volume to global commodity leaders to ensure consistent capacity planningBuild relationships and negotiate with dedicated providers according to policies, to achieve best contractual conditions while ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction.Drive initiatives with critical vendors to expand capacity, capability, inventories. Leverage resources within sourcing / strategic sourcing community to accelerate result.Contribute to Make or Buy evaluation/execution based on cost and Services lead time requirementsIncrease price competitiveness for selected components (modules)Collaborate with the Parts and Repairs fulfillment centers, to identify capabilities gaps, and develop sourcing strategy to support outagesSupport emergent customer issues as needed by identifying and directing resources to improve our readiness to serve position (RTS). Support customer and outage escalations as required.Provide Kaizen leadership, identifying gaps and empowering the organization to continuously improve ITO/OTR processes. Relocation Assistance Provided: NoFor candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $125,000.00 and $208,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.This posting is expected to remain open for at least seven days after it was posted on April 06, 20
