We envision a future where sustainability and prosperity go hand in hand—where every citizen has access to clean air and water, meaningful work, and a healthy environment for future generations.We’re looking for a Research Manager to lead a state-wise audience segmentation study and contribute to broader research efforts.The RoleYou will oversee the full lifecycle of research projects—from design to dissemination—ensuring work is grounded in India’s diverse social, political, and cultural contexts. This includes managing external research partners, conducting analysis, and producing outputs that support strategy, communication, and policy.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design and execution of a state-wise audience segmentation studyDevelop and adapt research tools (surveys, interview guides, discussion protocols)Coordinate fieldwork with external partners and ensure quality data collectionConduct mixed-methods analysis and extract actionable insightsDevelop segment profiles and personas based on behavioural and value-based findingsProduce clear, structured reports and presentations for internal and external audiencesManage relationships with research vendors, advisors, and stakeholdersWhat We’re Looking For5+ years’ experience in social, market, or policy researchStrong skills in both qualitative and quantitative methodsProficiency in tools such as SPSS, R, NVivo, or equivalents (preferred)Excellent writing and communication abilitiesAbility to connect research insights to real-world strategy and engagementExperience managing external research partners or vendorsFluency in English and at least one Indian languageMaster’s degree (or equivalent) in social sciences, behavioural science, public policy, or related fieldTo ApplyPlease submit:Your CVA 1-page cover letter explaining why you're interested in the role and what relevant experience you bringNote: Applications without a tailored cover letter may not be considered.Originally posted on Himalayas
