As a rapidly growing health tech company, Lilli fosters a culture of innovation and is actively seeking forward-thinking professionals to join its dynamic teams across development, sales, and marketing.Role DescriptionAs Head of Product at Lilli, you will be responsible for defining and driving the product strategy across a complex, multi-segment platform.You will operate at the centre of three competing forces:the needs of public sector customers (local authorities)the expectations of private providers and familiesthe realities of what can be built well and reliablyYour role is not just to “gather requirements”, but to make clear product bets. You will decide where we go deep, where we stay simple, and where we say no. You will work closely with Engineering, Business Improvement, Commercial and Customer Success to:shape a coherent product strategy across all segmentsturn ambiguous problems into well-defined product directionsensure what we build is both valuable and usable in real-world care settingsThis is a hands-on leadership role. You will need to move between strategy and detail, from defining long-term direction to reviewing the shape of a single feature. Success in this role is not measured by output, but by clarity of direction, quality of decisions, and the impact our products have on people’s lives.What makes this role challengingYou will rarely have perfect data. You will need to make decisions with partial information.Different customer segments will pull the product in different directions.The cost of getting things wrong is high. This is not a purely digital product.You will need to balance speed with trust and reliability.You will be expected to challenge stakeholders, not just align with them.Responsibilities Develop a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, customer needs, policy environment and market structure across our segments, and translate this into clear commentary, product implications and recommendations for the leadership team.Set product direction across public, private and consumer segmentsMake clear product bets and prioritisation trade-offsLead and develop the product functionWork closely with Engineering, Data Science and commercial teams to turn ambiguity into shipped productBuild strong product discovery, decision-making and feedback loopsRepresent the product vision internally and externallyRequirementsYou have led product in a complex B2B or B2B2C environmentYou are comfortable making bets with imperfect informationYou can operate across strategy, discovery and deliveryYou are highly analytical and can distil the data into an insightful storyYou understand health and social care technology, its users, and the challenges of the sectorYou work well with engineers and data scientists, and understand how good products get builtYou care about real-world outcomes, not just shipping featuresOriginally posted on Himalayas
