If you're driven by solving complex, real-world problems and want to build modern technology that accelerates the global energy transition, you'll feel right at home with us.About the roleAs a Lead Product Designer at ENSEK, you will shape how customers interact with our core B2B platform, defining experience strategy across some of our most important and complex product areas. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering and Data teams to influence what gets built, uncover opportunities through discovery and research, and deliver high-quality experiences that create measurable value for customers and the business. As a senior design leader, you'll help raise the bar for design thinking across ENSEK, mentor other designers and leverage AI tools to accelerate research, exploration, prototyping and delivery.Key responsibilitiesOwn end-to-end experience strategy across the platform's highest-priority cross-domain journeys.Drive experience improvements that support company goals and deliver measurable customer and business impact.Lead discovery in ambiguous problem spaces, identifying opportunities and shaping solutions before requirements are fully defined.Map, optimise and simplify complex user journeys across a multifaceted B2B platform.Design AI-assisted workflows, including feedback loops, human-in-the-loop experiences, trust mechanisms and explainability patterns.Facilitate design critiques, workshops and collaborative sessions that surface insights and inform decision-making.Partner closely with Product, Engineering and Data leaders to advocate for exceptional user experiences.Act as a role model within the Design team, mentoring designers and contributing to the growth and maturity of the function.Help establish and champion best practices, design standards and user-centred thinking across the business.Key outcomesClear, scalable experience strategies that improve usability across complex customer journeys.Measurable improvements in customer outcomes, product adoption and operational efficiency.Simplified user experiences across complex workflows and domains.Successful integration of AI-assisted experiences that enhance user productivity while maintaining trust and transparency.Strong cross-functional alignment around customer needs, product priorities and design direction.Increased design maturity through coaching, collaboration and the adoption of best practices across teams.High-quality, scalable solutions that contribute directly to ENSEK's product vision and growth.Experience requiredProven track record delivering end-to-end experience strategy and product design within complex B2B, enterprise or regulated environments.Strong systems-thinking mindset, with the ability to see beyond individual features and design cohesive end-to-end experiences.Experience leading discovery and shaping solutions in ambiguous problem spaces.Hands-on experience designing AI-assisted or agentic workflows, including human-in-the-loop experiences, confidence indicators, error handling and trust-based interactions.Active user of AI tools throughout the design process, including research synthesis, ideation, prototyping and rapid iteration.Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organisation.Experience coaching and mentoring designers while helping establish standards and elevate design quality across a team.Ability to clearly articulate challenges, identify opportunities and create compelling narratives that drive alignment and action.Company Benefits25 days' holiday + bank holidaysOption to buy or sell 5 extra annual leave days per yearVitality Health Insurance, including private healthcare, virtual GP access, mental-health support and wellbeing perksPension with 5% matched contributionRegular team-wide and company-wide events2 volunteering days per year to give backRemote-first working environment with offices in London and NottinghamOriginally posted on Himalayas
