Telemedicine Veterinarian — Multi-State Licensure

**About the Role** Nexlife is on a mission to make high\-quality veterinary care affordable and accessible to pet families nationwide. We're looking for a compassionate veterinarian (DVM or VMD) holding active licenses in 25 or more states to deliver virtual care spanning preventive care and general wellness, nutrition and weight management, dermatology and allergies, and behavioral health. You'll practice with the backing of advanced automation and a robust clinical support team — so your time goes where it matters most: your patients and their people. **What You'll Do** * Deliver patient\-centered virtual care through Nexlife's integrated telehealth and records platform, including video consultations, chat visits, and digital assessments * Review intake forms and medical histories, evaluate symptoms, and conduct thorough owner\-guided virtual exams * Provide evidence\-based guidance and manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions appropriate for telemedicine * Diagnose and prescribe within each state's VCPR and veterinary telemedicine regulations, and provide teletriage or general advice where remote prescribing is not permitted * Recognize when a case needs hands\-on care and direct clients to in\-person or emergency veterinary services without delay * Document every clinical encounter accurately and efficiently in our practice management / EMR system * Coordinate diagnostics with local clinics and care teams — laboratory work, imaging, and specialist referrals * Build lasting relationships with pets and their owners through ongoing treatment evaluations and follow\-ups * Educate clients on nutrition, weight management, treatment options, and sustainable at\-home care routines * Protect client and patient confidentiality in line with state veterinary practice acts and privacy requirements * Stay current with veterinary telehealth best practices, evolving state VCPR rules, and clinical research **What We're Looking For** * DVM or VMD from an AVMA\-accredited institution * Active, unrestricted veterinary licenses in a minimum of 25 states * Working knowledge of state\-by\-state VCPR and telemedicine requirements * Confidence with digital tools and veterinary EMR / practice management software, paired with professionalism and empathy * An excellent virtual "webside" manner — warm with pets, clear and reassuring with their owners * Availability of 10–20 hours per week, Monday through Friday **Why Nexlife** Join a team that pairs clinical excellence with modern technology to remove barriers to veterinary care.
