Our team combines strong legal expertise with a deep understanding of how real businesses operate, allowing us to provide solutions that are not only legally sound but also aligned with our clients’ strategic goals.Role Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support legal team by improving workflow efficiency and ensuring senior lawyers can focus on reviewing and finalizing legal work rather than drafting it from scratch. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who can take ownership of drafting, research, and document preparation while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting lawyers with legal documentation, contract preparation, and research, helping streamline processes and improve delegation within the firm.Key Responsibilities: Draft agreements and other legal documents based on instructions from senior lawyersComplete and manage contract templates and standard legal formsConduct legal research and summarize findings for lawyersPrepare legal documentation and supporting materials for lawyer reviewEnsure documents are accurate, complete, and aligned with firm standardsOrganize and maintain legal files and documentationAssist with improving internal workflows and documentation processes to support efficient delegationRequired Skills and Qualifications:Excellent written and spoken English skillsExperience working in an Australian law firm in commercial law is highly preferredCandidates with UK law firm experience will also be consideredAlternatively, 7–10+ years of legal experience in the Philippines, preferably in a law firm or legal support environmentStrong legal drafting skills with experience preparing contracts, agreements, and legal documentationSolid legal research capabilities with the ability to summarize findings clearly for lawyersHigh level of attention to detail and document accuracyStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlinesAbility to work independently and produce high-quality work with minimal supervisionProficiency in legal and productivity software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, legal research platforms (Austlii or Jade), document management systems (iManage or NetDocuments), practice management tools (Clio, LEAP, Smokeball, or Actionstep), and PDF tools like Adobe Acrobat.Willingness to start working under an Independent Contractor arrangement and later transition to an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangementWork Arrangement & Expectations:This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client workReflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)Originally posted on Himalayas
