While this is the current structure and we currently have no plans to change, we reserve the right to make changes to the remote schedule as needed at the Company’s discretion.Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, leading and directing a team of Credit Collectors, managing an accounts receivable portfolio of $25M to $50M Dollars in North America. A key objective of the role will be to drive collection results to achieve business targets. The portfolio includes a diversified range of customers, several branch locations, and the manger will be expected to ensure that credit controls, appropriate credit policies and procedures are complied with. The Collections Manager will also work with the Allegion Access Technologies Credit Manager on larger, complex accounts. An essential element of the role will include building effective customer relationships and an ability to collaborate effectively with business partners to achieve cash flow objectives. This individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, setting priorities and motivating a diverse collections team. This candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, have strong leadership experience, and ability to drive change while creating a positive culture with strong employee engagement.Individual must have the ability to lead a collection team, to interpret and summarize accounts receivable data, and provide recommendations to management on customer accounts, utilize risk mitigation tools, and achieve Accounts Receivables performance goals. This position will partner with the Allegion Access Technologies Credit Manager to deliver Accounts Receivable performance, delivers forecasted results, and support/review sales initiatives to facilitate revenue growth. Partner with branch operations, branch personnel, billing organization, and customer experience to effectively provide excellent customer service and clear directives on Accounts Receivable initiatives.What You Will Do:Performance Management Manage and motivate a collection team to drive portfolio performance, DSO, % Current, reduction of 60+ day balances, and ability to meet the monthly cash collection forecastDrive improved collections results to achieve business AR performance annual planBuild solid relationship with both customers, sales, branch operations, and staffAbility to design, innovate, challenge processes and act as a change agent within the America’s Credit organizationWork with Credit Management on larger, challenging accountsA sound understanding of domestic/international credit and collection practicesExcellent communication skills as well as an ability to interact effectively with staff at all levelsStrong problem-solving skills and willingness to partner with cross function teams such as branch operations, customer experience, billing, and salesAbility to negotiate and effectively communicate judgment decisions requiredAccount reconciliation and dispute resolution management skills requiredPlanning, Reporting and AnalysisTimely and accurate analyze of Accounts Receivable results and compare/contrast to forecasts/annual operating plan monthly, quarterly, and yearly.Prepare reporting for month end and effectively analyze, and communicate trendsPrepare and present necessary countermeasures relative to cash collections, disputes, and unapplied cash/creditsMonthly communication of Account Receivable results to Credit management and st
