Your role involves developing and managing project plans schedules, timelines, scope, etc.), driving alignment across cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of key milestones. You will foster clear communication, manage stakeholder expectations, and uphold accountability to drive successful project outcomes. Through your management, you will support PMO standards, maintain essential documentation, and contribute to a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.Who You Are:A collaborative project manager who builds strong working relationships across teamsA clear and confident communicator who adapts to both technical and non-technical audiencesA detail-oriented planner who stays organized and follows through on commitmentsA problem-solver who keeps projects moving despite obstacles or ambiguityA team player who supports consistent project practices and accountability across the organizationVeterans and military spouses are encouraged to applyWhat You’ll Do:Lead IT projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, timeline, and budgetDevelop project charters, schedules, and activity plans in collaboration with stakeholdersCoordinate with cross-functional teams and vendor partners to plan and execute project workTrack progress, follow up on assignments, and hold team members accountable for deliverablesManage risks, issues, and changes throughout the project lifecycleCommunicate status updates clearly and consistently to stakeholders at all levelsMaintain required project documentation including risk logs, communication plans, and test recordsSchedule and lead project meetings, document decisions, and drive follow-ups to completionEnsure compliance with PMO processes and audit requirementsSupport project intake and prioritization efforts by helping define scope and estimating effortPromote consistent use of PMO templates, tools, and reporting practicesContribute to continuous improvement of project delivery across the IT organizationYour Qualifications Include:Required:Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience3+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years focused on IT projectsProven ability to manage multiple projects at onceExperience working across IT domains such as infrastructure, cloud, vendor coordination, or system implementationDemonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and project management toolsPreferred:Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent)Experience working in IT management and/or operations, including infrastructure, network, or security engineeringFamiliarity with operations in the hospitality industryOriginally posted on Himalayas
