Oracle Cloud Engineer (Contractor)

RESPEC is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Engineer contractor to support a SLED project. This role will work closely with Oracle and internal stakeholders during the initial setup of the Development environment in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), then take ownership of configuring and deploying subsequent environments.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Oracle and project stakeholders during the setup of the Development environment in OCILearn and document environment configurations, architecture, and deployment processesIndependently configure and deploy UAT and Production environments based on established patternsEnsure consistency, scalability, and security across all OCI environmentsTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and configuration issuesProvide knowledge transfer and documentation for ongoing supportRequired QualificationsHands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Strong understanding of cloud environment setup, configuration, and deploymentExperience building and managing Development, UAT, and Production environmentsAbility to quickly learn and replicate configurations from initial implementationsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience working directly with Oracle or on Oracle-led implementationsFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code or automation toolsKnowledge of cloud security best practices and governanceExperience in multi-environment deployment strategiesKey Success FactorsAbility to quickly ramp up during the Development environment setupConfidence in independently owning UAT and Production environment buildsStrong documentation and knowledge transfer skillsAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Big challenges need bold thinkers.If you’re someone who sees problems as opportunities, you’ll thrive here.
