Data Architect

This is a remote position.Data Architect – AI & Cloud Data PlatformsWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design and lead the development of modern data ecosystems that support AI-driven solutions and client-facing applications. This role will be responsible for building scalable data architectures across cloud platforms, enabling advanced analytics, and supporting machine learning and AI initiatives.The ideal candidate has deep experience with AWS and Azure, strong expertise in data modeling and pipeline design, and a proven ability to integrate data across platforms including BI tools and CRM systems such as DealCloud.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable, cloud-based data architectures across AWS and AzureDevelop and maintain enterprise data models (conceptual, logical, and physical)Build and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use casesArchitect solutions that integrate data from multiple sources, including CRM systems (DealCloud) and third-party platformsPartner with analytics teams to enable reporting through Tableau and Power BIDefine and enforce data governance, quality, and security standardsDesign data frameworks to support AI/ML workloads, including feature engineering and model-ready datasetsCollaborate with application architects and engineers to ensure seamless data integration within applicationsOptimize performance of data warehouses, data lakes, and real-time data processing systemsEvaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance the data ecosystem RequirementsRequired Qualifications7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related rolesStrong experience with cloud data platforms (AWS and/or Azure)Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake architectureHands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline designExperience supporting BI tools such as Tableau and Power BIStrong SQL skills and experience with at least one programming language (Python preferred)Experience integrating data from CRM platforms (DealCloud or similar)Understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practicesKey Traits for SuccessAbility to translate business needs into scalable data solutionsStrong collaboration skills across engineering, analytics, and business teamsStrategic mindset with the ability to design for future AI scalabilityStrong attention to data integrity, performance, and usability Originally posted on Himalayas
