Lead Engineer (.NET)

Our client is seeking an experienced .NET and Azure Technical Lead to design and build secure, scalable cloud applications.The role requires strong hands-on experience in .NET, C#, Azure architecture, and Azure Kubernetes Service, with DevOps experience considered an advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop cloud-native applications using C# and .NET.Define scalable architecture using microservices, event-driven systems, or modular monoliths.Build APIs, background services, and event-driven workflows.Design secure Azure environments using AKS, App Services, Storage, Key Vault, and Entra ID.Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.Improve application performance, reliability, security, monitoring, and cost efficiency.Lead code reviews and establish engineering and testing standards.Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote strong engineering practices.Required ExperienceAt least five years of professional .NET development experience.Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core or .NET 6+, and ASP.NET Core.Strong hands-on Azure cloud architecture experience.Practical experience with Azure Kubernetes Service.Experience with Azure DevOps and YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.Experience developing APIs and distributed or event-driven systems.Strong SQL Server experience.Experience leading code reviews and mentoring developers.Desirable ExperienceDevOps and Infrastructure as Code.MongoDB.Blazor WebAssembly and SignalR.Application Insights and Log Analytics.Automated testing and advanced deployment strategies.Originally posted on Himalayas
