We put the customer at the center of everything we do and foster a collaborative, communicative, and continuously improving work environment.WORK ARRANGEMENTS:This role is 100% Remote work schedule. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Nutmeg Agency Consultant will be responsible for: Delivering comprehensive insurance solutions tailored to customer needsEvaluating risk Confidently asking for the sale while overcoming objections Servicing our existing book of business SCHEDULE: Training Program:Start Date: 6/1/2026Duration: 10-12 weeksTraining timelines may vary based on business needs and individual progress; flexibility is appreciated.Please note that time off during training is not accommodated.Training Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm EST.Post-Training Hours: Monday - Friday 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST. (Assigned working hours are subject to change depending on operational requirements.)QUALIFICATIONS: Personal Lines (PL) or Property & Casualty (P&C) license required, must maintain all required statelicenses and terminate prior carrier appointments as needed2+ years' insurance experienceComfort with negotiating and overcoming objectionsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while navigating multiple systemsCapacity to stay agile amidst the constantly changing insurance industry.Strong ability to work independently and collaborativelyThis is a customer-facing role requiring your full attention. A distraction-free environment is essential. INTERNET: For full-time, occasional, part-time, or remote positions: (1) high speed broadband internet service is required, we do not recommend or support DSL, wireless, Wi-Fi, Hotspots, Fiber without a modem and Satellite; (2) Internet provider supplied modem/router/gateway is hardwired to the Hartford issued computer with an ethernet cable; and (3) minimum upload/download speeds of 10Mbps/300 Mbps will be required. To confirm whether your Internet system has sufficient speeds, please visit http://www.speedtest.net from your personal computer.CompensationThe listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
