This is a high-impact position where your expertise in QA leadership will influence not just individual projects, but the evolution of our quality engineering practices across the organization.What's In It For YouWorking within a dynamic and collaborative teamGrowing through stimulating mandates and projectsBenefiting from career opportunities that support professional developmentWorking in a hybrid mode, in the office, from home, or fully remoteEnjoying a flexible schedule and a comprehensive benefits programAccess to a retirement savings plan with employer contribution What you’ll doDefine an overall testing strategy to ensure full system integration:Ensure effective validation of solution software componentsEnsure validation of integrations between systems and componentsEnsure end-to-end testing coverageCollaborate with implementation teams to define test plans and executionWork closely with the project manager to establish the testing strategy and scheduleActively contribute to the preparation and presentation of QA strategies to clientsAct as the primary point of contact for clients regarding testing strategyLead client meetings to review strategy, test matrices, and overall coverageGather client feedback and priorities related to QA activities and adjust accordinglyCoordinate testing priorities with the client QA counterpartEnsure communication of QA activities, including status reporting to the project manager and clientDevelop guidelines on best practices related to test strategy and coverageDefine and implement optimal processes and tools to support testing activitiesDefine and track QA performance metricsOversee automation initiatives for client implementations in collaboration with offshore and onshore teamsContribute to the evolution of automation practices toward continuous and efficient quality engineeringImplement strategies to improve efficiency, accelerate release timelines, enhance software quality, and reduce defectsCoordinate performance testing activities with offshore and onshore teams What you bringUniversity degree in actuarial science, computer science, engineering, or a related fieldExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English8 to 12 years of experience in quality assurance, including a minimum of 3 years in a QA leadership roleQuality assurance certification (an asset)Strong knowledge of QA processesExperience in software testing, including strong analytical and project management skillsExperience developing testing strategies and plans for large-scale projectsExperience with Agile methodologies (an asset)Experience working with offshore teams (an asset)Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices in software testingExcellent organizational and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of technology and communicationsStrong attention to detailAvailability to travel within Canada and the United States Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will occasionally interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.) as part of this position's main responsibilities given its international scope.A bit about usWe’re a people-focused, customer-first, purpose-driven team who works together every day to innovate and do good.
