Position DescriptionAt a GlanceLegrand has an exciting opportunity for an EDI Specialist to join the Legrand North America Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and creating partner setups, interfacing with external partners and internal customers for developing integration solutions, researching root cause of errors, and resolving integration/EDI incidents. This position may also be part of larger team project initiatives, and company growth and expansion initiatives.What Will You Do?Initiate and assist with the creation, development, end-to-end testing, and implementation of Integration processes and procedures, and B2B and EDI solutionsIdentify integration improvement opportunities and discuss with team membersFunction as technical liaison with technical contacts at trading partners and 3rd party organizationsDevelop, maintain, and enhance maps used for data transformationParticipate in the creation of standards and processesOccasionally provide support during evening or weekend hoursSupport and monitor integration flowsPerform other, similar and related, duties as requiredUnderstand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in safety programs, initiatives, and investigationsDemonstrate our core values of Customer, People, Integrity, Teamwork, Continuous Learning & Improvement, and Empowerment & AccountabilityQualificationsRequired SkillsEDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or a minimum of four (4) years of I.T/EDI experience requiredEXPERIENCE:3+ years IBM SB2BI support experience1+ year of experience with SAP and IDocsSKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:EDI Mapping and translation experience using an EDI Software, and willingness to learn IBM SB2BI softwareIBM SB2BI partner setup and communication setup using a Framework, and small map changes/updatesIBM SB2BI map changes/updatesStrong knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT EDI StandardsAbility to interpret standards, specifications, document flows, etc.Awareness of AS2, SFTP and APIsExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; professional presence and behaviorAbility to operate/work in a high growth & entrepreneurial environmentProficient in the use of personal computers, internet and MS Office suite of software including Word, TEAMs, PowerPoint, Excel, OutlookAbility to work in a team environment, and leverage additional resources as neededAble to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners, team members, Business, and Technical teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyEnjoys the Integration space, and willing to learn new technologies / softwaresMust possess a high degree of professionalism and the ability to work effectively with limited directionCompany InfoAbout LegrandLegrand is the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures.
