Learn more about our flexible approach to where we work.OverviewWe are looking for an HR Generalist to support specific pillars within our HR Business Partner function. The HR Generalist will directly handle, advise and coach on employee relations and compensation matters, as well as work with the broader People Operations team to develop and drive initiatives and overall process improvements. This role is critical to enable our business growth and further our mission of creating a world where everyone has access to the food they love and more time to enjoy it together. About the JobAdvise and provide coaching to first-time managers on employee relations, systems implementation, compensation, performance management, HR policies and other related topicsPartner with your function’s HR Business Partner(s) on larger projects and org changesIdentify and recommend continuous improvements to HR programs and processes to drive efficiencies and enhance the employee experienceManage all new hire onboarding logistics for client groupsConduct exit interviews and support administration of employee offboardingStay up to date on state HR laws and practices (payroll, benefits, compliance, terminations, leave of absences, etc.) Manage employee relations and respond to all questions regarding benefits, systems, performance, company programs and policies About You Minimum QualificationsFive (5) years of HR experience in fast growing organizationsKnowledge of HR federal & state laws and regulationsAbility to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a rapidly-changing environmentStrong attention to detail and organizationStrong communicator with demonstrated experience influencing and collaborating cross-functionallyExperience with being the face of HR, representing policies and practices to managers and employees across the organizationProficient with Google Suite and Microsoft OfficeBA/BS degree or equivalent experienceInstacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work. This role is remote and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location. Please review our Flex First remote work policy here. Currently, we are only hiring in the following provinces: Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia.Offers may vary based on many factors, such as candidate experience and skills required for the role.
