Welcome to Montage Health’s application process!Job Description:Individuals in this position will design, develop and deploy data analytic solutions to a diverse array of stakeholders across the enterprise. As a Sr. Business Intelligence Developer, you will collaborate with our team of skilled developers to implement BI reports, dashboards and other forms of analytics solutions designed to gain new insights, while upholding best practices and standards. You will play a key role in our mission of converting data into actionable insights.Responsibilities:Coordinate with various business teams, subject matter experts, or external entities to gather requirements and translate them into coherent Business Intelligence (BI) reports, and dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI, SSRSCreate data models, ERD and data flow diagrams as neededBuild functional data marts for in-depth analytics by stakeholdersPerform data analysis and ad-hoc queries to support business decision-makingImplement best practices to ensure data quality and data integrityMaintain and extend Epic Caboodle platform and develop custom Caboodle data modeling components Understand complex logic and solve data issues by coming up with sound technical solutionsSupport implementation of enterprise data standards and master data management standardsAssist with data governance initiatives in the areas of data quality, data security, metadata management, and MDMActively contribute to all aspects of the data project lifecycle including request intake and acknowledgment, project estimation, time-tracking, and prioritization of tasksAssist with identification, development and validation of data sourcesContribute to the department’s short-term and long-term strategic planMake appropriate recommendations on management of data extraction, and analysisMaintain knowledge of the current regulations and technologies related to data managementBe an exemplary team player with excellent collaboration skillsExhibit outstanding customer service skills with stakeholdersPerform other duties as required or assignedExperience7+ years of proven experience in database development, BI reportingStrong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skillsAbility to assess requirements from multiple sources and find innovative technical solutionsSolid understanding on creating content to display Epic data from Clarity and CaboodleExperience with Microsft BI stackSound knowledge of healthcare and health plan workflowsAbility to work in a complex environmentAbility to be organized and proficient at tracking tasks, defining next steps, and following project plansAdvanced knowledge of SQL, including window functions and common table expressionsSound knowledge of data ETL concepts, processes, and tools such as MS SSIS, ADFAdvanced knowledge of database and data warehousing concepts, including data lakes, relational and dimensional database design concepts, and data modeling practicesFamiliarity with Agile project management methods such as SCRUM, Lean, and/or KanbanExpert knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, and dynamic data visualization toolsAdvanced knowledge of healthcare data structures, workflows, and concepts, from Electronic Health Record systems like EpicEducationBachelor’s degree in technical, scientific, and/or healthcare discipline; or equivalent work experienceLicensure/CertificationsEpic Clarity-Caboodle Development certifications are preferredAdditional Information
