This position primarily supports clients by providing on\-site verification, documentation, inspections, facility checks, vendor support, and basic hands\-on assistance under the direction of authorized remote teams. The role may also include unarmed security response activities such as alarm response, site checks, access verification, and observe\-and\-report security duties. This is an hourly, non\-exempt position. All hours worked will be compensated in accordance with applicable federal, Oregon state, and local wage and hour laws. **Essential Job Functions** =========================== **Remote Hands / Smart Hands Support** -------------------------------------- Provide basic on\-site support under the direction of authorized technical teams, dispatch personnel, supervisors, vendors, or clients. Responsibilities may include: * Performing visual inspections of equipment, rooms, cabinets, racks, cages, buildings, gates, doors, and access points. * Checking equipment indicators, alarms, screens, displays, labels, and operating status. * Taking photographs and videos for documentation purposes. * Verifying site conditions and reporting findings. * Confirming whether equipment, rooms, doors, or facilities are secured. * Performing authorized power cycles when specifically instructed. * Assisting with inventory verification and equipment identification. * Following approved procedures and written instructions. * Escalating any unclear, unauthorized, or unsafe requests. Employees are not authorized to perform electrical work, equipment repairs, wiring modifications, network configuration changes, or other technical work outside their assigned training and authorization. **Facility Inspections and Site Checklists** -------------------------------------------- Complete assigned inspections and site verification checklists.
