Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Billing (Remote)
About the Client: Our client is a reputable U.S.-based law firm with decades of experience supporting individuals through bankruptcy and Social Security disability cases. The firm is known for its commitment to client care, accessible legal services, and knowledgeable legal professionals.Overview: This position plays a key role in supporting our billing operations by processing payments, maintaining accurate
financial records, assisting clients with billing inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. The
ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with numbers, and able to manage multiple priorities in
a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.Responsibilities:Answer client billing questions professionally and accurately.Process and post client payments.Apply debt settlement and bankruptcy payments.Modify client payment plans as needed.Process payment transactions, including voids and adjustments.Monitor failed payments and follow up with clients regarding declined or missed payments.Respond to creditor calls to verify client representation.Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of client financial information.Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned.Collaborate with team members to support efficient office operations.
Qualifications:1–3 years of successful experience in an administrative assistant, billing, customer service, or related
role.Legal billing experience is a plus, but not required.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, accounting, or arelated field is a plus.Required SkillsExceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Comfortable working with numbers, basic math, and financial computations.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Teams.Experience working with CRM systems.Experience with Salesforce, LawPay, QuickBooks, and/or Invoiced is a plus, but not required.
