This role is ideal for someone with early-career experience who is ready to take on more ownership and expand their exposure across the full accounting cycle.You will play a key role in day-to-day accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes, while gaining hands-on experience in month-end close, reporting, tax, and audit. You’ll also partner cross-functionally to support revenue-related workflows and ensure accuracy across financial and operational systems.We’re especially excited about candidates who are interested in leveraging automation and emerging AI tools to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and help modernize accounting processes as we scale.What You’ll OwnCore Accounting OperationsManage accounts payable processes, including invoice review, coding, and vendor coordinationSupport accounts receivable, including billing, payment tracking, and resolving discrepanciesAssist with collections efforts and partner with internal teams on outstanding balancesMaintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentationRevenue & Systems Support (Salesforce)Partner with Finance and GTM teams to support billing and revenue workflows tied to SalesforceEnsure accuracy and completeness of customer, contract, and billing data across systemsAssist in reconciling data between Salesforce and accounting systems to support revenue reportingHelp improve processes and data integrity across revenue and finance systemsMonth-End Close & ReportingPrepare journal entries and perform account reconciliationsSupport and gradually take ownership of portions of the monthly close processAssist in preparing financial reports and internal reporting packagesHelp ensure accuracy and completeness of financial dataTax & Audit SupportAssist in preparing schedules and documentation for tax filingsSupport external audits by organizing records and responding to auditor requestsHelp maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controlsSystems, Automation & Process ImprovementMaintain accuracy of accounting systems and financial dataIdentify opportunities to automate workflows and reduce manual processes using tools and AISupport implementation of process improvements across accounting and revenue operationsDocument accounting workflows and ensure processes are consistently followedWhat We’re Looking For1–3 years of accounting, finance, or related experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldStrong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP exposure preferred)Experience supporting AP, AR, or general ledger processesExperience working with or supporting CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (required)Interest in automation, systems, or AI tools to improve workflowsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesClear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyWhat Success Looks LikeAccounting operations (AP, AR, reconciliations) are completed accurately and on timeRevenue-related data across Salesforce and accounting systems is accurate and reliableYou take ownership of portions of the month-end close processFinancial data is organized, consistent, and audit-readyYou proactively identify opportunities to automate and improve accounting processesLeveling & Location:Thanx uses structured internal levelling and location-based compensation.
