Job Posting Title:Recurring Remote Makeup ArtistReq ID:10151785Job Description:The Recurring Remote Makeup Artist position is responsible for supporting the on-air appearance of the announcers. This role is remote based without a corporate office location. Recurring Remote Makeup artist will be asked to travel based on the sport needs and locations, as well as commonly work holidays and weekends. This role is Part Time.Responsibilities:Ensure makeup looks natural and well-applied under different lightingMatch skin color to color palettes to determine best looksWork quickly and accurately under pressureWipe off makeup and reapply if client is unsatisfied.Maintain clean work area and ensure all work instruments are sanitizedMaintain awareness of health and safety issues and legislationStyle client's hair to best accentuate features on camera, make recommendations for changes as neededExperience working on different hair textures and lengths. Must be able to achieve desired styles, blow dry, and use the appropriate hair products [for each hair type]Required Qualifications:Valid Driver’s LicenseAbility to achieve clean looks for HD camera shotsMust be able to work in an efficient manner, keeping a clean and tidy work environmentMinimum of 1 year freelance or makeup artist experienceCosmetology, aesthetics license or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:Time management skills- knowing how long a subject will take to be made-upWork quickly and accurately in time-pressured conditionsSuperior interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to all levels of Talent such as celebrities, show hosts, guests, and athletesHigh ability to multitask and set priorities based on remote production needsSkilled at interpreting ideas and addressing concerns, yet trusting your own opinions and instinctsMust possess the ability to work under minimal supervision in a professional working environmentRequired Education:High School Diploma or EquivalentPreferred Education:Cosmetology diploma or degree#ESPNMediaThe pay rate for this remote role is $22.00 to $ 88.50 per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
