**Social Media \& Marketing Assistant** **About Organization: Wellness Together, a California 501(c)(3\) nonprofit organization, partners with schools statewide to increase access to mental health services for students and families. By collaborating with universities and graduate programs, Wellness Together provides cost\-effective "turn\-key" social\-emotional interventions on school campuses across California.** **We are committed to developing school\-based mental health practices that go beyond traditional medical care and provide much needed social\-emotional support at no cost to the student or their family. We advance school\-based health by:** * **Advocating for state and national policies that support school\-based mental health services** * **Providing training to staff as well as the community on mental health** * **Hosting the annual Student Mental Wellness Conference which partners with the CA Department of Education** * **Cultivating new and existing partnerships to spread best practices and improve school\-based mental health** **Summary of Position:** **The Social Media \& Marketing Assistant will support and maintain an online brand presence across a variety of platforms including social media channels, media alerts, engagement with media channels and news outlets, collaborate on subscriber emails, and in organizational design projects.** **Responsibilities:** * **Social Media Management: Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.** * **Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive interactions with our audience.** * **Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop high\-quality and visually appealing content, including graphics, images, and videos, that align with the brand voice and guidelines.** * **Brand Guidelines: Ensure all social media and marketing materials adhere to the established brand guidelines, including tone, style, and visual identity.** * **Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media metrics and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.** * **Research and Trend Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media platforms to identify new opportunities for engagement and growth.** * **Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to support various marketing initiatives, including promotions, events, and campaigns.** * **Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for grammar and spelling.** * **Creative Mindset: Ability to think creatively and contribute fresh ideas to engage the target audience effectively.** * **Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure consistent adherence to brand guidelines.** * **Fa
