DESCRIPTION:
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Technical Sales Specialist, where you'll contribute to revenue growth and customer success through technical sales expertise. You'll represent our Chemical Analysis portfolio of scientific instruments and solutions, working closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions that enable them to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.As a technical advisor, you'll develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts while providing technical expertise across the sales cycle. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and technical support to implement sales strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree plus 3 years of technical sales experience with relevant scientific analytical instrumentation and associated workflowsPreferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Materials ScienceStrong understanding of laboratory workflows and customer requirements, preferredDemonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targetsExcellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to explain complex technical conceptsExperience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong analytical and strategic planning capabilitiesAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environmentDemonstrated project management and organizational skillsTravel requirements of 50-75% within assigned territoryValid driver's license and ability to lift/move equipment as neededStrong relationship building and negotiation skillsAbility to analyze market trends and competitive landscapeExperience delivering technical demonstrations and trainingBenefitsWe offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, and a range of employee benefits.
