We're looking for an electrical expert who can anticipate installation challenges, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, support field teams, and provide technical leadership throughout the lifecycle of a residential solar project.As the ESC Quality Control Supervisor, you'll oversee a team responsible for reviewing projects, identifying potential issues before installation, supporting active installations, and helping resolve post-installation electrical concerns. Your expertise will directly improve installation quality, reduce costly rework, and ensure our projects are completed safely and efficiently.What You'll DoTechnical LeadershipServe as the electrical subject matter expert for residential solar operationsLead the Electrical Service Center (ESC) Quality Control teamReview residential solar projects for electrical accuracy, code compliance, and installation readinessIdentify electrical concerns before projects reach the fieldDevelop solutions that prevent installation delays and costly reworkProvide technical guidance to field electricians, installers, project managers, and operations teamsInstallation & Post-Installation SupportAssist field teams with complex electrical troubleshooting during installationDiagnose and resolve post-installation electrical issuesReview photos, documentation, and field notes to determine corrective actionsRecommend code-compliant solutions for unique installation challengesPartner with Engineering and Operations to resolve technical issues quicklyQuality & Continuous ImprovementEstablish and maintain electrical quality standardsDevelop quality control procedures and best practicesIdentify recurring installation issues and implement corrective actionsTrack trends and recommend process improvementsAssist in developing training materials for electricians and field personnelMentor and coach the ESC Quality Control teamWhat We're Looking ForCurrent Master Electrician license requiredExtensive residential electrical experienceStrong understanding of residential solar systems and installation practicesExpert knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)Experience troubleshooting residential electrical systemsStrong understanding of load calculations, service upgrades, interconnections, and electrical equipmentPrevious leadership or supervisory experience preferredExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsComfortable supporting remote field teams across multiple statesAbility to prioritize multiple technical issues in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsResidential solar installation experienceNABCEP certification is a plusExperience supporting multi-state operationsPrevious experience leading remote technical or quality teamsWhat We Offer$70k - $85k, based on experienceFully remote positionOpportunity to lead the technical direction of SpartanX's Electrical Service CenterCollaborative leadership teamCareer growth within a rapidly expanding national solar companyWhy SpartanX?The Electrical Service Center is where technical expertise meets operational excellence.
